ABOUT YIN INDIE
Yin Indie was created by me, a 40-something-year-old lifelong gamer who developed a love of wholesome and chilled video games after I had a kid. Trying to wrestle my toddler’s freakishly strong legs into a pair of pants was enough of a challenge without the stress of an online FPS.
I found that sourcing relaxing video games that were high in quality and playability wasn’t an easy task; there are a lot of shitty games out there. So, I created Yin Indie as a central place where peaceful gamers can discover well-made titles in this genre that are actually good without having to sift through the crap.
From beautiful, scenic games to well-crafted environmental puzzles, all of the games featured on site are combat-free (or have a peaceful setting), and are generally self-paced. So, if you want to slow things down a bit, leave your weapons at the door and come restore your health bar with us.
