Why do we like this?
1tbsp is good. I think he's got a ~50% hit-rate in terms of getting picked up by Indie Shuffle. And there's a reason for that.
"It's Very Loud" had my ears at full attention from the get-go. He's done vocal-centric tracks in the past, but this one seems to go full-tilt on the instrumentals (except for the vocal samples, of course). The end result reminds me bunches of Four Tet, who to this day is one of my preferred electronic artists.
Shocker of all shockers, the Australian artist behind 1tbsp has actually got a song called "Four Tet Is My Godmother" on his latest EP. Get your hands on the full thing here.
