Why do we like this?

Trent Prall, of the ultra-vibey, psychedelic band Kainalu, threw this mashup on the band's Facebook page the other night, saying "My brain liked how these fit together lol."

Well, my brain likes how these songs fit together too, it's just such a smooth and seamless mashup. The funky beat for "After The Storm" is so naturally accented by Earth, Wind and Fire's vocals from their hit "Shining Star."

With this groovy mix, Kainalu stepped aside from chill-wavy psych-pop and created a great bridge of old and neo-funk music.
