Why do we like this?

I'm new to Act As If's catalog. One listen to the Los Angeles-based band's last EP Lovers Online has me drawn toward featured track "Not Falling." I was originally going to share a catchy tune titled "All the Girls," but I ended up feeling a bit underwhelmed by the lyrics.

"Not Falling" captures the simplistic good vibes of LA indie pop, like drinking a cold soda on a hot day, while maintaining some semblance of lyrical integrity. This is one of those tracks I'll forget about for two years, then listen to 46 times in a row some day in 2019.
