My jaw has just hit the floor and it's because of this outrageously smart piece of music that I've just listened to. "Sustain" needs to go on for more than its current six and a half minutes (which in most causes is longer than the bulk of the music I listen to).
Seeing as this is a first time featuring the Ontario jazz trio, I will share some information with you. BBNG are currently working on their third studio album entitled ///. The group share a love for MF Doom and Odd Future, which certainly shines through in their style of music. The BADBADNOTGOOD Soundcloud is a treat from top to bottom, and it comes as no surprise that they have played gigs and festivals all over the world.
"Sustain," a single off of ///, is being released through an independent record label based in Los Angeles: Innovative Leisure. The labels roster includes the likes of Rhye, Bass Drum of Death, Nosaj Thing, to name a few.
The only thing I have left to say -- and yes, I'm sorry I have to say this -- is that they should change their name to GOODGOODNOTBAD. ~BA DUM CHHH~
